Description
This project is really exciting to be involved with. Who doesn’t want to help support a website a local bakery? Well ….It’s a dream come true for me!
Now if you don’t know about the Good Loaf’s business concept…you should, visit there website now and support them. Please visit the website. Suzy and the team are incredible and have my huge respect what theyre doing for the community and Northamptonshire!
Suzy asked me to help with her website. It was little tweaks behind the scenes to the deliveries and collections to make it easier for local customers.
For the staff, we created automated production lists to help the bakers and easy picking lists so the lovely fresh produce can be made to order and delivered on time.
Time for the Good Loaf to Flourish
1. Tidy up the custom shopping basket – (Improve Production)
2. New Hosting – Daily Backups & Updates
3. Stage 2 – A new redesign and new easier theme behind the scenes
The Good Loaf website was a project i started in 2025. For a website to take on, it was in reasonably good condition behind the scenes and on the front what visitors see. However, as we started to unpick bits to improve the website, we noticed small niggling errors and corrupt tables in the database, that made developments tricky. Thankfully with lots of testing on a staging website we have now given the Good Loaf bakery website a more efficient and improved delivery, collection and production system.
The website is now on a new version of wordpress and on a shiny new server, software and hosting. From a safety point of view daily website backups that can be rolled back a month are now in place.
Ground work done!
Before we start making this website bloom we have done the groundwork first.
A brand new wordpress custom theme is in the pipeline with fresh new design to emphasise the message of the good Loaf and scheduled content will be coming soon and i cant wait to see the results!
