Perfection foods are the largest handmade cake and muffin company in the UK. They also export worldwide. The website required a revamp, the old website was last developed in 2007 and the software (SQL and PHP) had reached end of life. This means its no longer supported. We had to act fast!

A brand new website for Perfection Foods

Confronted with a challenge, the old WordPress theme was hardcoded and any updates to text or code would fail with endless javascript issues. However not all was lost. there was a Product Range of cakes, cookies and muffins with over 200 flat pages. This section had relevant content and gathered lots of historical SEO with Google.

So the plan was to make a new wordpress website from scratch on a shiny new server, software and hosting. A brand new wordpress custom theme. We imported all the existing Product Range into Woocommerce, so it was all now editable and kept all the URL’s the same to keep the historical SEO. The client now has the option to make the product range – ecommerce with ease should they want to.

A new logo and new colour scheme has given the website a new lease of life.
Traffic is up 900%! The bounce rate has significantly lowered and visitors stay on the website on average 2.30minutes longer.

After the Redesign

Scheduled content – Regular search engine friendly optimised news posts, tied in with YouTube, social media posts on linkedn and Instagram. All this has a great affect on the clients audience and focussed keywords.
